Lichfield Festival Friends Sunday Afternoon Talks - 8th March & 19th April

1. St Mary's Hidden Photographic Gems is the title of a presentation on Sunday 8th March at 3.00 pm.  A selection of historic slide images of Lichfield's past, chosen from the City Archive at the Hub at St Mary's, will be shown and expertly explored by local historian Jono Oates.  The venue for this is Martin Heath Hall, Christchurch Lane, Lichfield, WS13 8AY where there is parking on site.  Tickets priced at £10 must be purchased in advance - go to:    https://www.trybooking.com/uk/FRQN    Tea and coffee will be available.

2. Murder Most Foul is the title of a talk with a historical theme to be given by guest speaker Sheelagh James on Sunday 19th April at 3.00 pm.  Sheelagh will recount murder and mystery in Georgian times, investigating 13 crimes; it will be an afternoon of grisly tales of ghastly errors and the path to the gibbet, with affronted duellists, infamous highwaymen, ghost hunters and more !  Again this will be at Martin Heath Hall - see above.  Tickets again £10 - go to:    https://www.trybooking.com/uk/FRQW    Tea and coffee on hand.
