We have considered moving proceedings to Zoom. This has not proved feasible, added to which there must be uncertainty surrounding potential power outages and, if so, the consequent impact on Zoom presentation. A clean break regarding tomorrow evening is felt the appropriate option.
Both the AGM and the lecture will now be moved to new dates, the aim still being to present to a live in-person audience, at the Guildhall in Lichfield. Please therefore await further detail on this from us in the near future, once the way forward has been determined. It's likely the AGM, already deferred once, will occur fairly soon; the talk to be given by David Moore Lichfield Waterworks Trust (Sandfields Pumping Station) hopefully to an available date later in the spring.
Once again, we give our apologies, though matters are beyond our control and the 'safety' option is undoubtedly the best course.
